I remember when gap was the greatest thing out there. I can’t believe they have sunk to giving away music just to get people to try on their pants.
Can you just imagine the marketing meeting?
“How can we get people in the stores? We suck!”
“I know, let’s give away FREE music. Maybe we could tie it in with a popular product so people will still think we are cool…”
“iTunes is hot right now. How about them?”
“Yeah, then maybe people won’t realize how much we suck.”
Sad…

Windows Vista, IE7 Betas Leak to Web
I tell you, the screen shots are purdy. Kinda like the the chrome skins for firefox, though vista’s default is black, looks like. Now, Vista is the OS, but IE7 was leaked too. On a side note, I wonder if IE7 will have extensions and themes to the extent firefox has them? Prolly not since the large open source community creates those and Microsoft will have to pay for development for IE.

I don’t want to say Mozilla’s Thunderbird sucks, but… I’ve used it for a few weeks with success most of the time. It didn’t crash at all and it was initially easy (noob easy) to import my Microsoft Outlook files. But.
Yes, there’s always a But.
But, there was only like 2 themes and no extensions. Isn’t that the reason we LOVE Firefox so? Well, the whole safety and ease-of-use is pretty cool too, but c’mon, I love my Pimpzilla. I can deal with a generic mail program though. I’ve used Outlook for years.

Noticed that in May laptops/notebook computers have outsold desktop computers for the first time ever. With the explosion of home WiFi and free HotSpots when out on the town, I can understand the shift.
It will be interesting to see if the shift continues. I have absolutely no use for my desktop. Now, that is a personal preference. My kids love the traditional desktop model because a computer mouse is so much more friendly than the touch pad.
