New MP3 Player from Sony, “The Bean” – MP3, Sony, Gadgets
Sony has launched the Bean, the ‘ergonomic’ mp3 player. Available in 4 colors, Tropical Ice, Cotton Candy, Licorice and Coconut No, I am not lying. Those are the cheesy names they have picked out for this thing…
The bean comes in 512 mg and 1 gig, and doesn’t just ’shuffle,’ sporting a one line OLED display that’s pretty bright, according to Techtree.com, allowing the user to navigate easily.
Techtree also makes reference to a smart price point for the players, with no real mention of even a ball-park figure.
I don’t know. Maybe they’ll be great, but I am just not a Sony fanboy. We have a Sony digital camera and the memory for Sony stuff is just so expensive and uber-proprietary.
Of course, I just don’t think I could carry a player with those wack color names.
