EA Hires Speilberg to Develop Video Games
Later today EA will announce they have tapped Stephen Speilberg to develop at least three games. My hopes is that he will make them as good as ET the movie, and not ET the game.
In other EA news, they continue to try their hardest to purchase French game maker, Ubisoft. You know Ubisoft as the creators of Splinter Cell and the other Tom Clancy games and a whole bunch of other fabulous games. Now, while I hate the French as much as the next guy (jk) I think they deserve to be able to say …read more

Girl Gamers
Another blog I write for had this post that I just knew you would appreciate. MS Hits Females…Kinda
Apparently, MS is targeting women with some of their packaging for the XBox 360. As a girl gamer my first response was YAY! they notice us, they really, really notice us. Unfortunatly, this is not the case.
The brochure gives reference to the different features/benefits and how you should tell your wife it’s not just a gaming machine. Ugh!

Sp*am Fighters UNITE!
Remember my fight sp*am rant t’other day? Well, I am working on my idea, but I don’t want to release the info yet. It’ll be citizen-supported, and won’t cost me much money at all.
Until then, read what these fantastic people are doing to fight sp*am. They deserve some kind of reward.

Video iPod Rumors – true, then false, now true again? Take pity on this poor girl!
Think Secret claims some insider info on the upcoming Apple press conf tomorrow. Their sources say:
…would sport a smaller enclosure in capacities up to 80GB. Those upgrades may be planned for a future iPod, however, as sources are pointing to 30GB and 60GB iPods debuting tomorrow, likely with some sort of video playback ability. Think Secret sources still expect pricing to remain at $299 and $399, with each model offered in two colors.
Video would not be all that amazing, being there are at least 6 (that I can think of off the top of my head) other music/video players. …read more

Video Game Fans Go Crazy – 1Up.com
A fan’s means of expressing love for a game series are endless; they could range from designing custom action figures to dressing up as a loved character and performing a sort of LARP (live-action role-playing) mating dance.
I dugg this earlier and I think it is a fun read. Are you a game geek?
I must admit there for a while I was a LARGE Zelda fan, in fact I am dying to get my hands on the new one, but I know it’s gonna be late

Outlook Has Met It’s Match
Zimbra does everything, yes I mean everything, Outlook does, but as an AJAX web app. You’ve probably all read my previous post on Mozilla’s Thunderbird and the issues I had with it. This thing makes Thunderbird look like AOL 3.1.
Here are just some of the features that got me really, really excited:
mouseovers – hover over a date and a mini-calendar for that day pops up; hover over an email address and get their contact info; best of all, hover over a web address and if that site has an alexa snapshot (and most do) a mini-preview …read more
XBox 360 Ephiphany!
epiphany: A comprehension or perception of reality by means of a sudden intuitive realization (in layman’s terms, an epiphany is when you all of a sudden ‘get’ something)
I have had an epiphany. I finally know why J. Allard and the brains at Microsoft are under-releasing the XBox 360. You know what I mean, they are putting out limited amounts of consoles. Notice they are sold out at EB already. I actually have a relative who has bought a few to sell on Ebay week of launch.
Anyway, now I realize why they’re doing this. I …read more
