EA Announces Battlefield: Bad Company for XBox 360 and PS3

EA announced that Battlefield: Bad Company is currently in development for the PS3 and XBox 360. The graphics are gorgeous, as you’d expect from a game developed from the beginning for next-gen hardware. The game engine is from Digital Illustions (FrostbiteTM).
Expect a deep single-player mode, dark humor and the great multiplayer we’ve all come to love in this series. Of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention they intend to increase the destructibility of the environments, if that’s possible. Expect a full suite of multiplayer options that take advantage of the ‘massive destructibility’ in the environments.
Battlefield is a sweet FPS and I’m itching to see it on a console.
