In Game Adverting or Spyware?
eBay Says Average Cost of PS3 is $1K+
People are working hard (or hardly working) to get their hands on the PS3. Folks are paying, on average, more than $1K to take home the shiny black console.
The Wii and XBox 360 are getting some love as well on eBay, but the PS3 is certainly the darling of the auction site at present. XBox 360, as a converse, is finally making about $75 per console (their initial loss per console was $75), now that they have reduced production costs. Surely, since the frantic pace they were asking for fulfillment has been slowed …read more

IGN and Fox’s D2D
IGN was purchased for a great deal of money last year by Fox Interactive Media, and their Direct 2 Drive area is already beginning to show promise. Recent partnerships with Starz, Lionsgate, Manga, Central Park Media and 20th Century Fox (NewsCorp) hint at a large future.
The site doesn’t promote just any show for download to WMV-capable devices. Men-focused shows only need apply.
– Movies run $7.99-19.99 while TV shows are the ubiquitous $1.99 a pop with season prices varying. TV offerings are limited for now to a grab bag of Fox series including 24, Prison Break, Bones.
