‘Wire’ Reports: A New Game Studio is Formed and Problems with Halo 2

- Veterans from EA have left to form their own game studio Jet Black Games which will be dedicated to DS and Wii titles. (source)

- There is an ongoing debate about whether the VT shooter was a video gamer especially after the Washington Post removed a claim he played Counter-Strike from their article. News has surfaced that no games were found in his room. I’ll keep you posted on this one. (source)

- GameTrailers.com has released their list of the top 10 gaming consoles. Here’s the list:

- A price drop may be in store for the PS3 as this article indicates Sony is looking into it’s pricing strategy and the fact that the system just isn’t generating the positive buzz it so desperately needs at it’s current price. (source)

- VALVE’s STEAM content distribution has been hacked with user data and most notably credit card numbers being stolen. (source)

- Firmware update 1.70 has hit the PS3 adding vibrating functionality for PS and PS2 games. (source)
