‘Wire’ Reports: Pokemon Pre-orders, Super Hero Licenses, and a Gaming Figure is Arrested
This is something I had been planning on doing for a while now but this seems like the perfect opportunity to debut the sites newest feature called ‘Wire’ Reports. - Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has surpassed 500,000 pre-orders nearly assuring the series has another sure hit on it’s hands. (source)
- Sega has purchased licenses to create video game on Thor, Captain America, and The Hulk. With rumors of a Captain America slated for ‘08 it looks like Sega will be the company behind gaming variants of the super hero. (source)
- Boston Police arrested Andrew Rosenblum yesterday after making threats to kill his girl friend hours after the Virginia Tech massacre. Rosenblum is the creator and co-host of GameLife on MTV web channel Overdrive. (source)
- The most popular download from Xbox live for April 9-13 was released with “The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning”being the most popular movie and “South Park” as the top TV download. (source)
- EA has announced that Tenessese Titans quarterback Vince Young will appear on the cover of Madden 08. (source)
- Target apparently doesn’t want to obey the April 29th street release date for the Xbox 360 Elite, selling the console already at one store. (photo)
