Nintendo On Top in April, PS3 Sales Remain Low

Nintendo LogoLast month Nintendo dominated the NPD sales chart yet again. The DS and Wii led the way for hardware sales while Pokemon sold is great quantities to put them in the top 4 spots on the software charts as well. Here are the sales lists:’

  • Nintendo DS: 471,000
  • Nintendo Wii: 360,000
  • Sony PlayStation 2: 194,000
  • Sony PSP: 183,000
  • Microsoft Xbox 360: 174,000
  • Nintendo Game Boy Advance: 84,000
  • Sony PlayStation 3: 82,000
  • Nintendo Gamecube: 13,000

Software

  • Pokémon Diamond (DS): 1,045,000
  • Pokémon Pearl (DS): 712,000
  • Super Paper Mario (Wii): 352,000
  • Wii Play (Wii): 249,000
  • Guitar Hero 2 (Xbox 360): 197,000
  • Guitar Hero 2 (PS2): 142,000
  • Spider-Man 3 (Xbox 360): 117,000
  • Spider-Man 3 (PS2): 105,000
  • God of War II (PS2): 101,000
  • MLB ‘07: The Show (PS2): 79,000
