EA to have a Crysis this November

EA Games has just confirmed that the gorgeous looking scifi shooter Crysis by Far Cry developer Crytek will be released for the PC on November 2007 in Europe and North America.

The unreleased game has become sort of a benchmark for those looking to upgrade their PC hardware and is the poster child in terms of full DX10 support. While the announcement of a release date is always good, it puts pressure on players to meet the perceived system requirements for the game. Needless to say, I’m sure a lot of PC gamers will be upgrading their systems till the end of the year just to be able to play Crysis.

“Crytek is constantly striving to push the boundaries of both game design and technology, while maintaining quality at the highest bar,” said Cevat Yerli, CEO and President of Crytek. “We’re thankful to our fans for their support and patience, and we’re excited to bring them Crysis this year. It’s going to be worth the wait.”
