GHIII Shortage Also Possible
Last week, Electronic Arts had warned that Rock Band would be scarce this holiday season. Now, EA is saying Guitar Hero III may experience similar shortages, Activision confirmed during its fiscal Q2 earnings call today.
CEO Robert Kotick said there is a possibility GHIII supply would not meet demand on “certain platforms”. I thought they were going to add “..whose name start with a W”..
The latest in the Guitar Hero franchise earned over $100 million in its first week of availability and has been Activision’s biggest product launch ever.
