Terminator coming back in 2009

Despite losing it’s iconic leading man to the upper echelons of US politics, the Terminator franchise moves on. With the first film in a proposed new trilogy hitting cinemas next year, work on the inevitable tie-in game has already begun.
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins focuses on the exploits of now 30-year-old John Connor, and Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the film’s production company Halcyon will be dealing with the game’s development. Halcyon Co. have taken the bold step of setting up their own game studio to oversee production of the tie-in.
Work on the new game, to be released across all the next generation consoles, alongside PC and mobile versions, has been going for several months, the game’s developers working closely with the film’s production unit to ensure unity across both mediums.
Expect the game to hit shelves in summer 2009.
