Atlus to Develop for the 360

Today Atlus announced it has secured a spot as an officially licensed third-party publisher for the Xbox 360. That means the Japanese company will start delivering games to North American 360 players, and first on the list are the strategy RPGs Spectral Force 3 and Operation: Darkness. Here my humble plea atlus. I WANT PERSONA and DISGAEA for the 360!!!!

Spectral Force 3 is set in Magic Era: 996. Ten kingdoms are trying to seize control of the land, igniting the Great Neverland War. The kingdoms have begun hiring mercenary units — which is where you come in.

Operation: Darkness throws gamers into an alternate World War II-era — stilled filled with Nazis, but now they can change into werewolves and zombies with rocket launchers.

Both games are set for release next year.

“We are very proud to pledge our support to the Xbox 360 and to officially partner with Microsoft to bring quality titles to their impressive entertainment system,” said Tim Pivnicny, VPSales & Marketing of Atlus U.S.A. “Atlus is renowned for its expertise and excellence in the RPG genre with critically-acclaimed hits like Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 and Odin Sphere, in addition to the award-winning Trauma Center franchise. We are honored to be able to contribute to the Xbox 360 and are eager to deliver the Atlus gaming experience to its owners.”
