04. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2) – 2,720,000
05. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) – 2,520,000
06. Pokemon Diamond (DS) – 2,480,000
07. Madden NFL 08 (PS2) – 1,900,000
08. Guitar Hero II (PS2) – 1,890,000
09. Assassin’s Creed (Xbox 360) – 1,870,000
10. Mario Party 8 (Wii) – 1,820,000

Looks like the Wii isn’t dominating completely in the software sales thats good to see.
Lol why the Wii hate? hehe. But yeah id buy COD 4, Halo 3 or Mass Effect first than Mario Galaxy.
Why do we “dislike” the Wii? For starters, all them unreleased (i.e. mediocre) PS2 games are jumping there.
While the Wii has sold more units than any console in this generation, the Xbox 360 still has the best lineup of games.
The truth is, there are only a handful of really good games that I would consider purchasing for the Wii, and the damn thing is selling more than the PS3 or the 360 because the casual demographic is gobbling it up.
I consider Metroid Prime 3 as the last good game for the Wii and it was released last August 2007. This new Mario game may be innovative, but it’s not something I’d save money for.
If there was a way to separate the casual from the hardcore demographic, I’m sure that the Wii would place last among the hardcores in this console race.
ya boy you all suck… i made my own gaming consele out of the wii the xbox 360 and the ps3…. i call it….. the pwii360!!!!! it can play any game and its the best graphics in fact it scares the crap out of people because they think its real. you dont even need the disc the play it!!! it has a wireless drive so i can play games that people in japan are playing right now! so it sucks to be you guys because you dont have a pwii360. P.S. I got it off ebay so it should be coming any time soon… or at least it should be because i paid a good sum of money for it.
