Gears of War 2 announced
Surprise! Gears of War 2 has been officially announced as a Xbox 360 exclusive by Microsoft and Epic Games at the GDC 2008 keynote:
Microsoft’s Game Developers Conference 2008 keynote is going on as this is being written, and news is coming in from Italy that Gears of War 2 has been announced for release in November of this year. An Italian press release just showed up on the wire with the news.
Update: Microsoft just confirmed this to be true and officially announced the sequel during its keynote. A trailer was shown that didn’t reveal any gameplay but showed a very stylish, cinematic battle between Marcus Fenix and a Locust soldier. There was not any voice acting.
