GTA IV cleared by British Censors
In the wake of the Manhunt 2’s protracted journey to retail in the UK, Rockstar will be exhaling in relief after the British Board of Film classification recently cleared Grand Theft Auto IV for release. As discovered by sources, the game has been given an 18 certificate, no doubt a reflection of some of the more adult themed content in the game that is set to grind the country to a halt come its release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 29.
The news also comes off the back of the recent Byron review, in which the government expended their resources to create a 226 page document that boldly recommended games carry certificates on the front and back of boxes.
