Another one has joined the Epic bandwagon….
SEGA of America has announced that it has extended its relationship with Epic Games by signing a new Unreal Engine 3 licensing deal for an unannounced, cross-platform game. SEGA has entered into its original licensing agreement to develop multiple titles with Unreal Engine 3 in May 2007. Details of the project in development will be released at a later date.

In an interview with IGN, Mike Capps, President of Epic Games, has publicly stated his disdain for Nintendo’s hit console. You might have read about other Epic executives saying not so good things about the Wii and this time is no different. God, I wish Miyamoto would shut these guys up for a change.

New York, NY – April 18, 2008 – DC Comics, the largest English-language comic book publisher in the world, in partnership with Epic Games, Inc., announced plans today to publish a comic book series based on the hugely popular action video game franchise Gears of War. The series is slated to debut from DC’s WildStorm publishing imprint in October. More details about the series, including the creative team, will be released at a later date.

Redwood City, Calif., April 8, 2008 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) and Epic Games, Inc. today announced that they have expanded their current license agreement. Under the terms of the new agreement, EA will have the right to incorporate the Unreal Engine 3 in more than five upcoming titles currently under development. March 17, 2008 – Epic Games, Inc. and Valve, two of the PC industry’s leading technology and content development studios, have inked an agreement to bring Epic’s award-winning titles to Steam, a leading platform for PC games and digital content with over 15 million accounts around the world.
The Epic hits now available on Steam include Epic’s debut classic, Unreal Gold, as well as Unreal II: The Awakening and the Unreal Tournament series of games, including the recently released Unreal Tournament 3, which has shipped over one million copies to date.
