Looks like the PC version of GTA 4 will arrive officially on the PC. A recent ESRB ratings update lists both Grand Theft Auto IV and Bully: Scholarship Edition for the “Windows PC” platform, which constitutes the first solid confirmation the two titles are heading to the PC. The New York Times has reported that Grand Theft Auto IV pulled in more than $500 million in its first week, selling an astounding 6 million copies globally, 3.6 million of them on the first day alone. This morning Take-Two confirmed the report, adding some well-deserved back-patting to the numbers.
To put it in perspective Halo 3, the previous record-holder, earned $300 million in the first week.

In the wake of the Manhunt 2’s protracted journey to retail in the UK, Rockstar will be exhaling in relief after the British Board of Film classification recently cleared Grand Theft Auto IV for release. According to analyst Michael Pachter Halo 3s massive launch, planned for this September, could delay Grand Theft Auto IV. The news is not surprising as they had been scheduled to be release just weeks apart giving fans of both games little time to play Halo (or refund their wallet) before the next game went on sale.
