Fire Emblem DS details
Fire Emblem is indeed making its way to the DS, and the latest issue of Famitsu has the first solid details following the game’s announcement last year. The new title is reportedly similar to a translation of the japanese title -> Fire Emblem: New Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light , this first DS installment in the storied series is actually a remake of the original Fire Emblem. The basics of the game wont change much from the original (or its sequels, for that matter) as players alternate between event scenes and strategic battles.
DOA Creator Itagaki Leaves Tecmo
Noted Japanese Game Developer Tomonobu Itagaki is leaving Tecmo and is reportedly suing the company for unpaid bonuses. The Dead or Alive creator says that one cause was an unfulfilled Dead or Alive 4 completion bonus, stating, ” (Tecmo) President Yoshimi Yasuda chose not only to violate this agreement, but also turned defiant, telling me ‘if you are dissatisfied with the decision not to pay the bonuses, either quit the company or sue it.’”
Looks like he just did both.
