The Demo for Madden NFL 09 is already out on XBL and the PSN. The 20th anniversary of Madden NFL football is less than two weeks away! Gamers can check out Madden NFL 09, the first sports game that adapts to you, with the Madden NFL 09 demo that is now available on Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Players can try out the new Virtual Trainer mode, which allows users to customize the difficulty and gameplay settings, as well as preview the new Madden Moments game mode.

Microsoft today announced the European release date of “Too Human”, the epic third person action game from renowned Canadian developer Silicon Knights. Exclusive to Xbox 360™, “Too Human” will be available across Europe from 29th August 2008.
In this modern take on classical Norse mythology, players are thrust into the midst of an apocalyptic battle that threatens the very existence of mankind. Playing as the divine cybernetic son of Odin, Baldur, you are one of the Aesir, humanity’s protectors charged with defending mankind from the onslaught of ancient machine armies.

Looks like me getting a PS3 for FF13 wont be necessary after all as Square-Enix announced Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360 at Microsoft’s E3 2008 press conference.
The announcement debuted in the form of a new trailer which initially looked like a Panzer Dragoon game with dragons flying in a trench. A ship lands in the trailer and flying mechanical soldiers drop out. Included in the trailer were massive airships.

Well look at that, Internet rumors of an Xbox 360 price cut have been circulating for quite some time and Target went ahead and made it official from a retailing standpoint earlier today. The new Xbox 360 60GB model will retail for $349, which the “old” SKU Pro previously sold for. The Elite model, which comes with a 120 GB hard drive, remains at $449, and the Arcade SKU, which has no hard drive, is still $279. 2K Games has announced that it will be the North American and international publisher for Cryptic Studios’ newest MMO, Champions Online for the Xbox 360 and PC. Champions Online is scheduled for release in spring of 2009.

THQ has recently released the cover art for the newest installment in their wrestling series and it features the infamous DX duo of Shawn Michaels and Triple H. This year’s version will feature more tag team specific content and features.
The accolade marks an unprecedented fifth time that fan-favorite Triple H has appeared on a cover for the leading fighting videogame franchise, while storied veteran Michaels will make his cover debut.

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has hit the 5 million mark in Europe thereby putting it ahead of the PlayStation 3 by some three quarters of a million according to tub-thumping comments from Microsoft’s European VP of strategic marketing David Gosen.
Gosen, who made his name in a five year tenure at Nintendo that saw the launch of the GameCube, told trade website MCV, “Anyone trying to call a winner this Christmas is calling too early.”
