Interplay is not only intent on reinventing Fallout for the MMO space, but the company is also attempting to secure “at least” $30 million to revive old IPs such as Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent, and MDK.

Two Delaware politicians are teaming up with the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (or ESRB) to launch a new series of public service announcements encouraging parents to heed videogame ratings. Delaware Lt. Governor John Carney, State Rep. Helene Keeley and ESRB president Patricia Vance announced the PSAs today. The advertisements will run on billboards, on shopping mall kiosks and in radio spots throughout the holiday season in Delaware.

Gamespot reports that last month, THQ warned investors that it would be falling short of its projected revenue figures, due partly to disappointing sales of Stuntman: Ignition and Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights, and partly due to delays for anticipated upcoming games like Destroy All Humans!: Path of the Furon and Frontlines: Fuel of War. Today the company reported its earnings for the second quarter of its fiscal 2008 (the three months ended September 30), and the results reflected that diminished outlook.

Leave it to the German ratings board, the USK, to spill the beans on another upcoming game. This time it has revealed that publisher Take Two is set to unveil a sequel to its mob action game Mafia during the Leipzig Games Convention next week. Dont expect to play the game at the convention though, as Take two will reportedly show the game in trailer form only.
