CVG has followed up with Capcom Europe about the recent rumors that that confirmation of Dead Rising 2 may be imminent. Here’s part of their story:
Capcom Europe has told CVG that Dead Rising 2 remains a rumour even though details on the sequel have been spotted in Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu.
Internet reports have stated that the follow-up to the company’s Xbox 360 zombie splatterfest has been confirmed as being in development in the latest edition of Famitsu, leading to speculation that Dead Rising 2 will be unveiled at a Capcom press event happening in the US this week.

Dead Rising 2 Confirmed in Development

Just wanted to pass along a quick newsworthy item that Dead Rising 2, sequel to the popular Dead Rising non-stop zombie killer, has been confirmed in development by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu according to MaxConsole.
I have looked for more information but for now it seems like all we know is that it is in development but is expected to be “officially” announced in the next few m
onths.

At least not at GameStop and EB Games. According to Xbox 360 Fanboy, both of the specialty video game retailers will not be taking preorders due to uncertainty about specific knowledge of launch statistics. Here’s a quote:

If you are planning on upgrading your current Xbox 360 drive(s) this is a must read from Wired:

You can only move data from the 20GB Hard Disk to the 120 GB Hard Disk. Transferring data in the other direction, or any other combination, is not possible.
Any data stored on the 120 GB hard disk will be automatically deleted.
Any data stored on the 20 GB hard disk will be automatically deleted after it is moved over.
